Banana Pecan and Caramel Waffles
Ingredients
For the Caramel Sauce

| 🥛 Whipping cream | 1¼ cups (310 ml) |
| 🧈 Unsalted butter | 4 tbsp (55 g), chopped |
| 🍯 Light or dark brown sugar | 150 g |
For the Waffles

| 🥚 Eggs | 3 |
| 🥛 Milk | 430 ml |
| 🧈 Unsalted butter | 9 tbsp (125 g), melted and cooled |
| 🌿 Vanilla extract | 1 tsp |
| 🌾 Self-raising flour | 300 g |
| 🍯 Light or dark brown sugar | 100 g, divided |
| 🍌 Large bananas | 2, thinly sliced (plus extra to serve) |
To Serve

Instructions
- To make the caramel sauce, combine the cream, butter and sugar in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Reduce to medium-low and simmer for 3 minutes or until thickened.
- Select CLASSIC setting and dial up LIGHT/ DARK indicator dial to suit your preference.
- Preheat until the orange light flashes and the word HEATING disappears.
- Meanwhile, make the waffles, place the eggs, milk, butter and vanilla in a medium bowl and whisk until well combined.
- Combine the flour and half the sugar in a large bowl and make a well in the center.
- Whisk the egg mixture into the flour mixture to form a smooth batter.
- Pour just under ½ cup of batter into each waffle square. Top each square with 3 slices of banana and 1 teaspoon of the remaining sugar. Close the lid to cook.
- Repeat with remaining batter, bananas and sugar.
- Serve waffles with banana, ice cream, caramel sauce and pecans.
