Sage Gift Card Terms and Conditions

The following Gift Card Terms and Conditions apply to eGift Cards issued by Wings GRP Trading Pty LTD . These eGift Cards are referred to as (“eGift Cards” or “eGift Card”). By purchasing, accepting, or using your eGift Card, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not purchase, use, or accept the eGift Card. Use of an eGift Card is also subject to our Terms of Sale and Privacy Policy, available at [www.sageafrica.co.za].

 

1. Gift Card Purchases

eGift Cards may be purchased online via [www.sageafrica.co.za] or any other platform as may be announced.

 

2. Gift Card Delivery

eGift Cards will be delivered via email shortly after purchase. You must enter the Gift Card Code and PIN at checkout to redeem it.

 

3. Balance and Expiry

The balance and expiry date of your eGift Card will appear on your receipt. In accordance with South African law, gift cards are valid for at least 3 years from the date of issue unless otherwise stated.

 

4. Redemption

eGift Cards can only be used towards the purchase of goods on [www.sageafrica.co.za] or designated platforms. If the purchase exceeds the eGift Card balance, you must pay the difference with another accepted payment method.

6. Security

Treat your eGift Card like cash. Lost, stolen, or damaged eGift Cards cannot be replaced.

 

7. Risk of Loss

Ownership and risk pass to the recipient once the eGift Card is sent electronically.

 

8. Limitations

eGift Cards:

  • Are not credit or debit cards.
  • May not be redeemed for cash (unless required by the Consumer Protection Act).
  • Cannot be used to buy other eGift Cards.
  • Will not be honoured if the Code/PIN is invalid or altered.

 

9. No Warranties

We make no express or implied warranties regarding eGift Cards, including merchantability or fitness for purpose. Our liability is limited to the replacement of non-functional cards.

 

10. Service Interruptions

We are not liable for service interruptions or for any issues with goods/services purchased using eGift Cards.

 

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, including the Consumer Protection Act (CPA). Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of South African courts.

 

12. Validity of Source

eGift Cards are void if purchased from unauthorized resellers or platforms. They may not be resold or transferred for value.

 

13. Right to Refuse

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an eGift Card suspected to be obtained fraudulently or used in breach of these Terms.

 

14. Cancellation

Once issued, eGift Cards cannot be cancelled except by us at our discretion. We may also discontinue the Gift Card programme with or without notice, offering refunds or replacement cards as deemed appropriate.

 

15. Privacy

We collect personal data for card issuance, balance checks, and fraud prevention. This data is handled in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). By using an eGift Card, you consent to such use.

 

16. Limitation of Liability

You release us from any claims or damages arising from your use or inability to use an eGift Card, except where required by law.

 

17. System Downtime
